I have a sound made in zebra.Moduled that a bit till i found it nice from default preset. It took a bit of time.
Now I realize one side is almost one decibel louder of avarage rms db,what to do?
One part is 16 bars long.
If i use a few parts a few variations of this sound than possibly the song will be louder at one side..cause no matter what i try to change a bit,the almost same problem remains.i tried waves stereo imager but didnt get success with it.Is stereo imager a way for it?
well i still have some ideas and wont resign, but id feel best if the stereo image would be in balance at this sound.
Can anyone give useful advice?
Cheers and good morning

hey bro, donno there are some more possibilities.
but think the fastest without the need to have a look for the fault would be Flux Stereo Tool i think.
its very good stereo imaging tool i use pretty often. u can adjust and control many things there, raise level of left/right etc. just have a look and give it a try, it´s free and absolutely great for that.

can't you just pan it like 10-20 points in the direction of the softer side?
that's all panning is, turning down the volume of whichever side you're panning away from, ie if you're panned hard right then the left side is it at 0% volume.
so if you pan away from the louder side it should even it out a bit |

id second panning- or, maybe putting it in mono (depending whether the sound has much stereo information that you did want- sounds like you want it centralised in the mix either way |

The most are mono and panned in the field but this one shall be stereo. But that a couple of bars with this stereo sound so it could weight too much on one side.
I went for simple panning in the channel panner as mentioned above.
thx for your help

Some times My leads or bass go to one side without explanaiton. what I do (working with cuebase)
I go to the chanel and at the top of it. it has the paning screen (small) I give right click on the mouse and appears the option stereo cumbined. And then I center both sides: And that does it for me. |
