well about new releases, their album is released a while ago on stonage and is truely psychedelic. very hard neverending dark basslines, trippy effects and very well structured melodies. the swedish trip if u understand......
well, what else can u expect from stonage. u can check for other releases of theirs on the orebro freakfactory compilationS.
i recomend it (i mean the new album) to all scandopsy freaks!

Hi, since I really loved the Steptime album and was wondering, what's happening with them, I searched around a bit and first of all would like to clear some misunderstandings, wich I found in this and other threads:

Steptime has never been to Russia, they didn't play in Aquapark. You heared DJ Jonas, not Steptime live.

Steptime is not "he", it's "they". So, they are spending the winters in Goa, but are both borne and grown up in Sweden.
I went to the Stoneage site as well and it is slowly comeing back to life.
If you look in the artist section, you find Steptime in a list of Liveacts you can book through DJ Jonas, who is one part of Steptime and running the lable.
If you check the resonantearth site, which is setup by Leo Bergman, who is the other part of Steptime, you will find some of their tracks featured, but there it says, that the Steptime project is not to be continued.
How can they play life if the project is not continued?

Glad to see how much info you have got...
I have to say somthing about Steptime perfomance in Moscow Aquapark. It's not my imagination or whatever else cause I've talk to DJ himself and he told me that his project's name is Steptime. But I never said that it was live act...

Hi Voice of All,
sorry for misexpressing myself, it is true, that you didn't say it was live.
As I understand it you spoke to DJ Jonas, when he was playing in Aquapark and it is correct, that he is part of the Steptime project.
It just happens, that I asked Leo, the other part of the project, in goa about the gig in Moscow, I had heared about and he said Steptime didn't have a gig there.
You see, I am german and a bit fuzzy and for me it is a strange to say that a certain project has played somewhere, when one part of the project says they haven't.

2 Pointy It's ok, friend. I don't realy want to say that you're not right I'm only said things that I've heard with my own ears. There was a bit noisy indeed and we have no possibility to talk much so I think DJ Jonas had named his project because I've said that I like his music very much and want to explore it more. So my question sounded like 'what disk I need to buy to taste kind of music he was playing?' It's rather sad that Steptime decide not to continue with this project.

Well, it takes two to tango, so if stoneages website say's you can book steptime for live act's it not true.
Steptime is most definatly 100% terminated project.
And I didn't know that we were playing in russia until I saw the flyer. Apparently some misunderstanding between the organiser and dj Jonas according to what I was told...well |

I tried to make it absolutly clear.
What part of it do you not get.
It means that:
No more tracks is being produced under that name.
No live gigs can be booked, no matter what it say's on the stonage site.
