Hi to all!!
I'm really new into this and I'd love some advise about steps from making a song to finally sell it to the people in the psy trance scene.
Would be great some references, for example:
1.Write songs
2.Produce songs
3.Mastering the songs (and I wish to know who can do it http://www.myspace.com/4cnstudios )and how much can cost
4.Cd cover art work ( http://sgdcentral.daportfolio.com/ ) how much they can ask?
5.Print the art work(can you give me advice of places in Europe and cheap prices with good quality?)
6.Edit or copy the cds (as well good places and offers would be great
7.Distribution companies (like Arabesque?)
8.Digital shops or online shops, how to get in contact with them, and how it works
9.Promotion (places like myspace, isratrance, facebook, parties...?)

In resume I'm interested in the future to do a compilation of psy-trance but I don't have experience so I need some advice.
Would be helpful as much names as you give (even self-promotion) so everybody can know it as well like web spaces or good promotions.

Thanks for your time and help!!!

1. Stay in the studio for a long long time until you have found your own unique sound, have gained an understanding for music arrangement, production and techniques and have gained a realistic view on your own talent (or lack of it).

First then start to think about releasing your music.

if you want to make a label and make psytrance cd's be ready to loose all the money you invest in it.           On 2011-03-08 23:13, moki wrote:

Thanks, that was a really good advise for who want to produce music, and I know nowadays is many people trying to do things faster and the music are not the best quality (you can see actually in many psy-trance albums...), but I'm more interested in the music business area than in the production (I'm thinking actually to create a label)

Just wanting to know the steps and the real order to have a nice album in the psy-shops
cheers!!

Well, technically the word "track" comes from the groove on vinyl; the needle follows a track. So tracks would just be any vinyl music wouldn't they?
