Hmmm so far i have not exactly found anything new and kickass that makes this release worthy of wearing the number 6 (compared to earlier releases that is)

ahh they still havent managed to changed the automatization to a comfortable one. This point is so lacking and so sucking about cubase, all other rocks.Logic and cubase still my two big loves, but cubase needs to make automatization as simple as it is in logic or ableton.
I hope though in the next version it will be different.

i still don´t get the new version number for those minor upgrades.. and the hefty price tag for them changes.

as long they dont make the automation routine easier im no touching the damn thing...
flstudio still beats the crap out of it in terms of fast automation workflow..

I'm quite happy with 5.5.2 for now. I'm with monno on this one, i can't seem to justify this upgrade to myself. With the other updates there was always some feature that made me go for it.
Perhaps i need to read up some more on the new features. For now the only appealing this is the new 'beat detective'ish features.

could you elaborate a bit more on that? there is c5.5 as 64 bit version so why would you need c6?
