In fact warcraft 3 has been the best strategy game cause of the limitation of resources and the Hero's, it was more about micro and tactics.
I have played the beta of SC:2 and it is great, a lot of new units to experiment. But watching Pro's replays gets in my nerves, how they manage all that stuff at the same time its just out of my imagination.

due out in almost just 7 days for me... I think my birthday shall be spent in front of the computer, with some Metalheadz style industrial DnB playing this game

^^ so far the only avalible campagnain will be the terran, since zerg and protoss will have their own release discs more ahead in the future.

Servers will be region restricted by purchased version: USA and Canada, Latin America, Europe, South Korea and Asia.
 I wanted to play with fellow isratrancers, maybe next year I will buy an European version

can you not connect directly to others , skip the Battle Net server ???

I dont have the game yet (I will buy digitally and activation goes up until midday today) but LAN connections are not supported. Blizzard stated they will implement some kind of support for any tournament.
