Hey peeps
I just saw this posted on the main Isratrance page...
"In the year 2003 they released their first album "prepare to fly". The musical concept of this album was atmospheric and groovy vibe.
In the year 2005 they joined the label CHEMICAL CREW.
These days, star-x are directing forward to much more aggressive sound and impact, combining elements from rock, electro, jazz and classical music."
I think joining the label Chemical Crew was the worst thing they could have done....for me "Prepare to Fly" was one of the best CD's of 2003 and showed some courage Israeli artists to break the mold and try something different....I then saw them play at Omni 2005 - the music for me was indistinguishable from so many other artists - what a disappointment that people get sucked back into the the same sound as others rather than continuing to break new ground.... |

The new album is really nothing special. Vocals, lots of guitars and cheesy hardhouse kinda leads. It's crap and that's all there is to it. Even the cover is crap. I hate it when artists like their faces so much they have to be on the cover of the album. It's for commercial music, not for underground kinda music. But hey, then again... they want to be superstars in a musicstyle that's basically always underground... go figure.

hello folks, somebody can explain me what happen with Star X??? where is that compact style????? what happen to that guys??? they were kind of style of lish yotopia etc...... now they are totally chemical crew style, i know they are in that label but they werent of that style, can somebody explain me what happen to that guys???? thanks bros.....

yeah i didnt see this message first, i put that one in other forum, but thats true, last cd was great, i remember saw star x at the beach in the morining in acapulco, with they fine style now its tottally different

yeah....
I c that star x now have changed their bass line also the music in order of label chemical crew...
...said but true folks ....maybe they still have the chance to go back when they read this...
