hmm ... there's a turntable ... it has a tone arm ... in the end of it there's a part with needle, called head ...
stanton ... is a company that produces heads , turntables, headsets, mixers etc.
their heads are said to be the best ....
hmm....
wrong place i guess.

bilbo, i think u should try ortofon headz they r better and cheaper, i have 2@home.
www.elevetor.de
is the biggest retailer for dj`s in europe. u don`t pay the german vat so its very kool- don`t buy the headz (stanton or ortofon) in israel since they cost more than double here!

jason if u go and buy stuff in krembo u pay like triple price.
i said it once and i`ll say it again....
stanton is more knwon arround the world since they r a very big company - they advertise alot.
i have used the stanton stuff for acouple of years and its no biggy. if u want to buy the complete concord stylus -they r very expensive in israel. i would recomend the ortofon concord which r cheaper and better. if u do want to buy stanton go for the new Roger sanchez needle- they r supposed to be the best (and they r expensive).

u can call hadar in tel aviv- but again he wants something 119 NIS for the needle(only the needle not the concord) i bought headshell+needle in less than that :) from germany.
its should cost for like a couple of hundreds NIS.
don`t recll the exact price tag. |
