Most softsynths support NRNP data. Does the Logic environement LFO support NRPN? That might be enough resolution (16384 steps) not to hear stepping.

Registered and non registered parameter numbers. It uses two "CC values" to allow much higher resolution: 128*128 values. Last time I checked, Cubase's implementation was horrible (Couldn't draw NRPNs and stuff like that) but Logic's implementation is probably better. Actually I know it is .

tnx man that IS something that's very handy...
fruity doesn't even know about it, but i'm surprised cubase can't handle it... My lowly old roland MC-500MkII can handle it (well, according to the manual that is, but i used that thing to death years ago, and it always handled everything i tried with it)... But i don't want to use that thing anymore... And i don't have mac damn... |

Oh Cubase can handle it but last time I checked it wasn't possible to draw NRPNs like you can CC data. This is essential for me as the Andromeda sends out all knob/ribbon data as NRPN. It is essential for me to be able to edit the data in the same way as CC data. Thats one reason why I use Sonar.
I didn't check in SX2 and I havn't used SX3 yet so things might have changed.
