A track I'm working on needs a little more punch at certain points. I found a stab in a song that I really like, but I really can't get the tone right. It's really trumpety, sounds like it's layered with white noise, and even a snare?

Can anybody help, or just give tips in general about making really punchy stabs.
Any have any prefab samples or presets?
What layers well with stab sounds?
I've never got this quite right, and I'd like to add this to my repertoire of skills.

this stab reminds a bit of seventies disco music - or some vocal house.
it sounds like trumpet (brass)
and it's layered with a bass/cymbal and maybe the beginning of that fast lfo'ish sound.
think a patch with a fast attack and brass-like harmonics should work ... or a sample.

I can hear that it also pitch bends down an octave very quickly.
I'm not sure that exact noise would work in what I'm mixing, but my attempt to make something similar was less than desirable.

I got the nuborn samples containing great stabs, here´s a little thing I tried with them.
