i can see something like that giving a boost in production quality , at least for me... the less i look at a fucking screen and the less i use a mouse the more i use my ears. sound silly but some hardwares gears give better result cause of that too , try using eqs compressors plugins with a controller and don t look at your screen ,you may be surprised sometimes with what you re doing,probably things you never thought would sound good cause you re not influenced by what you see and judge only with your ears ...i know even some producers that face their monitors and controller and put their computer screen on the side in the studio to really concentrate on sound when mixing .

i hope they release soon just the controller and no converters and preamps ,will be cheaper and their is better convertion and preamps to use anyway making the one included usless after a upgrade or for the ones having some already.

Well it does say ssl on it doesn´t it? hence the price i suppose. This one doesn´t make my organ itchy in any way simply because it´s redundant. For the same money i could get an x-desk and a euphonix controller,thus getting a better daw controller and a less cramped, mixer layout in the bargain. Naturally it´s not all in one box, but i can live with that and as for the lack of preamps well i am building my own as we speak based on the 9000 series.

i was checking the euphonix controller , i should have never seen this ! even the small one could be perfect to me but the price turned me off .

Very very good control surfaces and redicilously priced.
