Few bars at Unawatuna Beach, Galle play some electronic stuff and if you carry some decent music, they let you play as well..they have some events happening once in a while..also checkout marissa beach..
pretty chilled out vibes in all these place..evening you could hear some beats..
as far as colombo , i could only hear hip hop / death metal played at clubs. and security is pretty tight.

unwatuna , hikkaduwa and maybe arugumm bay are ur best bets to hear any psytrance ...only one dj (shiyam)plays s al lil bit of psy/gressive and some interesting techno ...good luck !
