SLAMMO!!!, though small in attendance, was an incredible party. Our soundcheck quickly evolved into a 2 hour ambient and downtempo live set, which moved forward throughout the night to become bangin psytrance. The artists all non-verbally communicated in a way I can only describe as 'magical.' When one of us would turn a bass off, another one of us would turn one on, it totally blew me away how EGO-LESS this format really is. Instead of all of the artists trying to outdo each other, we were all just adding and augmenting the music that the others were making. It ended up being really smooth, actually.
The booth was awesome, a total spaceship, it was amazing standing there with such incredible musicians and have us all participating in something that has not been done before, at least by us.
more SLAMMO to come, hopefully more SLAMMO sets will be showing up around the world!
