I know the mixing and mastering is pretty far from professional standards, but was hoping that atleast my audible ideas would have some potential.. I guess my question is, as I will undoubtedly pursue a life of music production; Is my style worth building on? Or is it simply too quirky and seemingly random or just simply not good enough?

i heard this trak 018.. you got nice control on synths and gud effects also.. some very nice sounds bro.. i dig!
6.55 on is kik ass.. kool shit.. flow wise is proper.. you could bring in some nice hats to the groove but this is sound good too.. cheers

hey man, just do your shit, dont worry what others think too much man,most of them dont even know what they r talking about,, i think ur sound is fukin nice, its got lots of potential, i think all u need is better soundcard,monitors and a good treated room, and fatten ur sound up a little, rest u got it, keep at it

Nice, thanks for the positive feedback folks.
And yeah, I really gotta get more patient with mixing.. Got pretty decent monitors+sub, but can't really use them because of thin walls and pissed off neighbours which are fond of calling the police (which would suck of other obvious reasons  ), so gonna get a properly treated studio soon hopefully.
Yeah, fatten would be great, just can't understand how really great magicians of psy, like Psykovsky, can get so intricate songs and still maintain that perfectly mixed, epic low-end.  |
