Come and help celebrate this new sonic expression at the official launch party of Spoonbill's 3rd album: ‘Zoomorphic’. After nearly two years of questing through the audio underworld, wrestling crocodile-headed samplers and taming fire-breathing speaker stacks, Spoonbill has returned to the earth's surface, ready to address his ecstatic followers. This time around, Spoonbill's anarchic, quirk-funk, glitched-up aesthetic has been forensically finessed like never before, sculpted to a well-bodied medley of groove-based sound art. Expect an awesome spectacle of unprecedented electronica, flanked by a flock of live musos, wild visuals and warped theatrical performances.
The Spoonbill live show is a feast of intricate beats which will immerse you in an eccentric wonderland of glitched-out monster grooves and rowdy bush cobbers. Guests on the night will be a smorgasboard of home baked production skills featuring Bodhi ‘Seed’ from Mystic beats playing his own brand of funky glitched up grooves . Mauxuam aka Maurizio Liguori with deep roots in afrobeat and psychedelic funk, while borrowing elements from dub, dub-step, breakbeat, glitch and found sounds along the way, Mauxuam offers up a groundbreaking and visionary odyssey into free range electronica.
