Calculus 2 is a continuation (taken in the second semester) of Calculus 1 - the most feared and hardest course of the first semester at my university, same things basically, only in 3D space. You suddenly think stuff like "wow, I'm sure glad I can do a triple integral on the divergent of the function over the volume of that shape, that really simplifies things". Needless to say, many helpless students are horribly traumatized by this.
