Apparently it is easier to set up a Hackintosh these days. I haven't looked at the about doing it, but its a good solution if you don't wanna splash out the unnecessary cash for a MacPro and Apple has made Logic 8 available to anyone who has a friend that has bought Logic 8.

btw: I tried Logic on a Hackintosh and it worked like a charm.
