With old trackers like "IT" or "Buzz" & etc i played with the pitch of the sample but how can i do spirals with vsti?
im using cubase sx 2.01 and i want to make spirals with a saw line from a vsti...
can anybuddy help me please?

u need to use frequency lfo on the sound in a sine shape ....that will get u the effect u want i i understood what u are trying to do

Play around with it you will get the real spirals in your brain, like cork screws through your nose

spirals made with "lfo" - low frequency oscilator.
imagine very very low bass that goes wuuwuuwuu but in frequency u cant hear nothin...but just how it effect the sound.. now take the lfo to trigger (effect) oscilator pitch and u have wonderful spiral... sync to bpm can b usefull...

well i got it... i used Choper filter (came with cubase)
but if u got a better way then explain... or show me...

That actual frequency isn't added. It's only used to modulate pitch or filter or whatever.
Sync to BPM can be useful, however sometimes you don't want it synced

Steinberg Rotator with Cubase (I think it comes as standard) would do the job also, if Chopper is what you think works ok for you. Maybe some pitch bend also? Otherwise investigate lfo's like the others recommend.
