Hello everyone...

I was searching this forum, but without any luck. I want to create a sample that increases in speed over an amount of time.

Example:
1 Note playing at 1st beat, at 130 BPM, and then over say 1 minute increasing to 1000 BPM. How can I do this?           www.xun.dk / myspace.com/xundk

if it is just a plain sample that has to be increased (as in, a single wave file) you can just use a pitch bend with any sound editor (sound forge for example)

If you want to create something like that sample my advice would be to investigate LFOs. Otherwise splinter + jerry give good advice.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

well that's two different effects man & and two different sounds...one of them has to do with the pitch and the other with tempo i think.

I am talking about the note that changes pitch, which also sounds like an increase of speed.

I have tried working with a note in wavelab, just making a pitchbend on a continous note, but it has the limit of 36 semitones.           www.xun.dk / myspace.com/xundk
