until now i've mixed using only my ears but it's hard specially because i don't have monitors and of course because i'm no Pro
but now i wanted to learn how to use spectrum analysers (in a pratical way) to make my mixing better. anyone can give me tips on the best analyser and how to configure it (i've tried PAZ today but didn't liked it... my current track looked not really much different from Dynamo - The Acid Daze, except for the RMS... which is impossible lol but i didn't tried to configure it), and how to use it to make my mix better or maybe just some tips.

thanks in advance
Boom

PS: and what is the Anti-Phase thingie in the stereo field?

e-motion - do a quick search for "paz" and then for "anti phase" in the subjects, youll find plenty of info.

put it on main mix channel, given that you can mute individual channels for analisis.

anyway, having it on the main mix channel (affter all the compressors and EQs) will let you visually analize what's going on (if high end too low or too high ect.)           www.venomous2.com

nolightatend , what about the presets that come with ozone, do u like any of those? are they a good starting point to tweak from on wavelab or starting clean is a better idea?

i think a clean start is the best if you know what you do it the best option!
