Spectrasonics Trilogy... Anybody know any killer waveform combinations??

Was basically fiddling around today trying to find nice waveforms and tweaking them (both single osc and dual osc) to get a nice punchy combination...
however, the sheer amount of options has overwhelmed me in a way and I have no idea really (not having that much hardware experience  ) which waveforms sound good...
If anyone can help it would be great

I'm afraid I can't help other than to advise you to stick with it. It's much more rewarding to gain the experience yourself rather than have the answers on a plate, and what you find out will have applications above and beyond this one plugin. Anyway, the waveforms that sound good to me might sound rubbish for your purposes.
One thing I can suggest is that when you find the waveforms that you like, sample them off at various different pitches (according maybe to whichever pitches you're using in your track) and edit the attacks so they're really tight. You can then use these edited samples in something like Kontakt - I find that although the basic sound of Trilogy is great, the attacks are nowhere near consistent enough to work well with psytrance.

Yeah i know, its the lazy option to post a question like this...
But the thing was that i don't really have much of an idea about the hardware equipment mentioned... still, i am (as i try to do) persisting...
