i love it. very phat solid sound design from spectrasonics. i would necessarily recommend it for basses in a standard trance track, but i have used it from time to time. its perfect for slower grooving tracks where you want the bass to shine through the kick. you can hear what it sounds like in this track i did with it: http://www.organicparadox.com/01clips/blink-cyi-31.mp3

i think its more for electronic, chill, lounge music than trance. this machine is very wild & hard to tame her for a track!

I use it in almost all my tracks for chillout, but i cant get it to work for trance, and i doubt it can actually be used for trance. Im not in the mood to do trance tracks nowdays so i love that bass module.

Well i know Yuli(BLT) is using it in some of his tracks so i'm sure it can be implemented for trance

it works for trance just fine but not without some eq'ing and you need to single out one sample instead of the two used in most presets. also, check out the waveform presets, and shorten the release for the patches. trilogy packs a punch!
