Yes it's horrible. My monitors plays a short second before overload protection kicks in when this happens, but its still shocking, and i'm too scared to work loud with omnisphere. I Also find the controls freezing when creating patches on it. Suddenly the tweaking has no effect, not even the Part mixer works in it, when this happens.

We all seem to have the very same AIR version 
hehe and in my system is perfect, I still haven't encounter any crashes.... now something to keep in mind update ur virus definitions and also look for spyware and adware which u mainly get in the keygens of many crack software, i always run the keygen from another computer the one im on right now the laptop which is the only cpu which i use for
internet and i can reformat anytime i want without hassles, takes a bit of time but atleast u know u aint got any infections in ur system which can screw up the stabiliity of ur cpu, I learned the hardway haha
hope my advice can save u time and the frickin HeadAche. now my system is stable and yeh the reformat sux balls but its the ultimate fix for lots of issues, also Alex if u got an extra CPU in ya studio why not load omnisphere in that one and using live
since i know its stable there, and have a midi interface directly to that cpu like that u have the midi
in nuendo but omni in the other CPU and then run the output of the cpu into the main daw, i dont know ur set-up but i run a another cpu just like it was a synth workstation of course u need good sound cards in both my main daw got 2 rme fireface800, Alesis AI-3 and the other cpu got a echo gina 24 its really flexible and just a different way to approach ur productions, i love it this set up can record all my hardware gear in a snap plus the 4 stereo outputs off my vst synth workstation... i hate recording one by one this set-up is very effective and you'll obviously see the advantages when workin with projects for clients also do ya selves a favor and jump on SAWstudio - http://www.digitalprosound.com/2001/07_jul/features/saw_newprod.htm
if you wanna run a business and time is a main factor theres nuttin like it, it speeds up ur mixes and its source code is da best in the induxtry Alex I also was using Nuendo but forget it man jump and try this one out I Promise you wont go back... Im hooked and sold that this hea is the best mixing app in the game check the vids and read all about it Holla at cha boy for more info if ya know what i mean hehe |

Got a laptop with 2 windows boots: for internet and performing only. And i also crosscheck everything before moving on to the DAW. But i got no good audio interface for the laptop when i'm not setting up for live performance. I use the motu traveler for both, and im not really to hooked on the idea working on 2 pc's while producing, not for me this one, but thanks for the idea
About this SAW, after more than 5 years with steinberg i'm totally hooked, and everything just works 100% for me with it, and specially the midi editing is the best one for me in the cubase and nuendo series
