just discovered this little "+" at filter, osc and other sections. woohoo... )

Once again, Omnisphere is very cool as synth, not only as sample-player.           http://soundcloud.com/aedem

I got the air version and it's flawless no crashes watsoever hahaha maybe something went wrong in ur installation> ?
also what sequencer are u using> ?
im usin it with live and like stated its sweet and no crashes sure some patches take a bit to load but those are mainly the multi programs,
overall its very nice and quite flexible...
mess with it more its got lots of sonic potential

and medea the magnifying plus means u can go into deep edit in that section....theres quite a couple more ... you oughta check the tutorial video;s very informative stuff there, it's modulations are soooo sick n simple

I totally love this synth, but it's crashing a lot over here, i get the nuendo runtime error suddenly when loading in a preset, and other times it just burst out noise sound at full volume. Thank god for overload protection on my monitors.

have u tried running the plugin in a different sequencer? such as ableton live cus i use live and Omnisphere is rock solid for me, perhaps theres some bug with cubase
its too early to really know, its been only bout 2 months since its release so the chances of being a bug is very probable or perhaps theres a plugin in ur session which might be conflictin... try this alex
make a new folder and place omnisphere only in there and make that ur vst folder now try
maken a test track just with omnisphere, if it still crashes its omni but if u dont get any errors then it a vst plugin which is causing conflicts, also perhaps theres a cracked vst which is causin that error in ur
session, im not accusin you of usin a crack and if u are i really dont care cus im runnin the air version and its solid as mentioned above plus a couple more vst which are cracked no sense in lying about it here...
try out what i recommended to you, also if u install and un-stall alot ur registry might be a bit fucked up, which causes system to become unstable... so run a registry cleaner that helps alot from my experience, or u can do the behated and reformatt perhaps the damage can't be fixed so its ya best bet, Cheers Alex

ps. do u got the latest updates for omnisphere its worth downloading it just might be ur solution

No i havent tried it in another sequencer, i only use nuendo. It is the air version, and i have updated it already. I think it must be a conflict with some other vst then, as you say. i will try do the thing with the vst folder, see if does any difference. I really hope, because it's lots of fun programming sounds on, and results can get amazing! but it's not so fun when u are afraid of turning up the volume, and get the possible full force buzz terror sound blasted to the face

I think i must format soon, cause its a tiny xp that has some errors with running the windows explorer. I find it crashing a lot when browsing folders etc. And also sudden BSOD on startup, but u know, i found a way to live with it - just thinking of the reinstall process, phwwww

Thanks for the advices mate, i will try them out

I have said NO to explorer.exe more than a year ago Using bblean (alternative shell, 1Mb in RAM, lots af functianality) + Total commander. Feeling happy =)

Not using TinyXP though, so not sure if this can fix your bugs.

well I wouldnt try to produce music under a tiny xp myself. it takes a lot of stress to process good audio projects and it seems like theyve ripped of a huge part of winxp to actually make it tiny lol.

maybe u should consider a regular titan sized winxp cuz this might just be the problem indeed.

Have you always used tiny xp for audio?           Jesus loves you...
But the rest of us think you're a tranny.

I have been using TinyXP Rev5 on quite a few different machines and never had any such issues.
Now I run an nLite'd XP but with BBClean and Directory Opus instead of explorer....there are a lot of shells and file browsers you could use to replace explorer and hopefully solve your problem.           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)

Yes, Live and VST's don't have hardly any dependencies at all...my install on my laptop only for live sets have 5 services active at startup and works without any problems.
What can be a hassle with TinyXP is installing some hardware..for example it took some time to get PCMCIA and firewire installed.
Apart from that a DAW can run on an extremely minimal configuration.           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)

so I think that would be most suitable for me since I have ableton + vst's and novation remote running through usb. so firewire and pcmcia wouldnt be needed at all. guess Ill give it a try.

I didn't know it was possible to replace the explorer, i just might try that, thanks for the tips!

I have always used tiny xp for audio, runs smooth actually, with all the hardware and stuff, never had serious problems.

I think the reason why the tiny xp is acting up, is because i did something very stupid. about 2 years ago @ last format, i had the rev2 + the rev 5, and both cd's where a bit scratched, so the installer had to skip files on both when trying. So......well......i tried something a bit.....hmm.....stupid inserting the other disc everytime it had problems reading a file from the other haha Worked fun enough, but with the BSOD on bootup once in a while, but other than this, and the explorer problem, everything works 100%           myspace.com/auralinvasion

Be very careful while using Omnisphere!!!

I'm lucky that my ears and headphones are ok, but i'm frightened as hell!!!

I am now working on an ambient track, it's night and i'm in headphones. Listening to what im doing, tweaking a nice beautiful pad in Omnisphere...

and suddenly... CRASHHHH!!!!! AWFUL LOUD NOISE!

the meter in the mixer showed +685 dB ! O_O           http://soundcloud.com/aedem
