The names of these big rompler synths are ridiculous.
I know they're MASSIVE and take up a GOLIATH amount of space, and when you install it you'll become an omni GOD of sound.
What's the next generation going to be called? They've really painted themselves into a corner name-wise.

Finally it's installed...
Now... The sound is AWSOME, the patches are VERY cool and the interface is very simple at first look.
BUT... Does anyone know how to assign controls to a midi controller?
In FL 8 I don't seem to be able to do so... Please help

From the Spectrasonics booth at AES today, they said that all the line will be going to the new STEAM engine technology. So the wrappers will be history soon. Very important for Trilogy users: if you are using a wrapper for Intel Mac's, stay with one instance of the VST - multiple instances confuse the wrapper. If you need multiple instances, bounce the audio or freeze then add. Like I said this will be temporary until the updates are released. Plus a new version of Stylus is on the way. How soon? They said very soon.
Omnisphere looks very good, unique, powerful. By the way you can grab any MIDI file and drop into Omnisphere for locking your arpeggiator pattern to a groove - it doesn't have to be a Stylus groove only.
The psychoacoustic stuff (burning piano, light bulb filaments, etc. do look intriguing. I have to let my wallet cool off before I can afford this but I'm sure I will want it.
One more thing, you can assign voices to the mod wheel and make your pads blossom from a single voice to many as a performance controller. I'm sure there's much more under the hood.
Keep the reviews coming!
Cheers.
