So, for all those who AREN'T 303 haters and know this instrument really can still kick ass, overused though it is, what are your favorite searing 303 lines of all time? What's the most creative ways you've heard someone use it?
There better be some good answers here, I'm craving some solid 303 atm.

i have seen some crowd getting wild cause of the 303 ,there is nothing else that does this , there is something special in the sound,it s psychic and physical... at his liquid state it take me in the chest,it go up in my body as the cut off rise tingling my neck , it s almost like a drug it go up and hit my brain ,bristle my hairs ,303 flash... yeah maybe i should have quited drugs when i was younger ...LOL

i will have to check but i don t listen much recent stuff that use 303 riff, it will sound dated ... and dunno about creative way , i just like some simple riff ,sometimes used like a bassline ,hypnotic ,or riff that screams...
right now i m listening solar quest..it s not everyone taste but i enjoyed when i was younger , now it sound very dated..lot of 303 but he used it very distorted i like it more when it s liquid .

this one was a classic , not bad during and after the break but maybe not a very creative way of using the box (somethign to take into account is the track is from 1992 if i m right )...but it s the kind of hypnotic bassline i like .
this track would still work better than most of the recent stuff for me and many at 10 am in a beach party... there we realize no need shitty break and all that stuff, it s exaclty like cooking... when the ingredients are good simple food is the best ,no need to hide the crap with tricks

BLEW MY 15 YR OLD MIND back in 97, up late sunday night-monday morning when MTV was cool and played MWNN. This track if no other solidified my love of psychedelic music, goatrance, and the 303.
And let me think, what else...
Well Im all excited about Teleport that I cant think of others.
Also +1 for CBL, untilthereislight is right, dont fight, it dont bite its just flight, out of sight, and dy-no-mite

doubt it s a 303 but this one was killling everyone when mixed at the right time.. think warm night in the summer ,the full moon... 2000 wild freaks ... the kind of track that make the party start for real

yeah it doesnt hold up but then a lot from back then doesnt so much... whihc makes things that do (Orbital-In Sides comes instantly to mind) all that much better imo
I think that the best style for 303-appreciation has got to be acid, be it -trance, -tech, whichever. Goatrance of course makes good use of acid styled sounds, but the acid styles, whew, theyre the BEST for ngyowkakakyakyowwowow and all that. I dont know many acid producers tho.... Eskeemo Knights I dig a lot (<3 to the BOFH wherever he may be)

Doof's 303 use is so fcking good. ahhhhhhhh
there is a pretty epic 303 thread on psymusic.co.uk - can't remember the name of it, but its got lots of (to me) obscure youtube links to acid house pioneers and shit. worth it if you're looking for 303 riff history.

yes agree, lot of stuff dont hold up anymore..but i still enjoy these tunes, keep them coming guys but many goa and psytrance is not 303 but distorted synths sounds... but i think it s still nice to post them if it screams or maybe not.. might be offtopic
