Im planing to buy a new pair of speakers. I want them to fit infected mushroom and goa/psy/trance musik perfekt. So can some one please tell me what speakers i shuld buy.Is that something to put my money on..?

pls dont even bother to look at 5,1 or 7,1 setups they were not devised for music - but for movies and effects etc...........
clewan music sounds best in a stereo triangle whereby the 2 speakers and ur head should be laced in an equilateral triangle........
trance uses other effects such as phase etc to give u the feel of depth and direction
so my advise is put ur money on a good pair of speaker and a nice amplifier........
since we are at the topic............ incase u r looking for some second hand high end stuff lemme know - ive moved from india and couldnt carry all that stuff with me - its just lying packed at home.

i also agree 5.1 or 7.1 setups are not advisable for music,
m_audio, or samson, or mackie (at a higher level) are indicated for music creation

'Cadence' is an amazing speaker brand... hand crafted speakers... super high quality and not so super high price
'Boston' is another excellent brand. probably better for psytrance...

for me atleast...
from experience ive found tht all the systems from sony/samsung/philips etc.. with a sub-woofer sound half decent
but to go from 80% great quality to higher.. u must spend the big bucks
....good fudge comes on slow!!! |

Good question... Cause I believe that most ppl are confusing the 2, monitoring and listening... If u are planning to enter the production world there are lots of threads to help you with that, but if u are planning to get some speakers for your djing and listening pleasures, studio monitors are not the best idea... Clean sound and all but not what u are looking for and for sure not the best option...
