Use the search (haha dont use just hate it when someone says that)

quailty comes with cost..... there are some decent well priced monitors......

There is a montior thread somewhere which is great. Check the FAQ section, you'll surely find it. If its old, just bump it up.

There is another thread in Psy-Forum. Some super tips there as well.

Anyway, i got the Rokit KRK5 and am very happy with them. I got a great deal on Ebay.

Tannoy reveal - lots of people use them and many are happy, from what i heard.

Esi near 5 - lots of people use this one aswell, and many seem to be happy with them, from what i heard.

Haha

why dont you go listen to some and judge by your self.....

and remember that the speakers them self wont do much good if your room is suffering from bad acoustics..

Ive got the Esi near05, got em for around 350usd and the sound is nice and clean. Ofcourse if you paid more money you would most likely get better sound but thats how it is with everything. I would recommend them, but if you have the opportunity then go take a listen and deside for yourself.

my opinion is to check the tannoys last cause u ll probably like their sound best
although they lack in some low end but again my opinion is that this is not quite a problem.

Indeed BX8's look good, but they sound is not accurate, takes ages to get used to them. Best spend a bit more and get decent monitors, makes a hell of a difference in production.           Cytopia.org

and they cost only 1000$ a pair ,,, i mean for the performance and those kinda specs ,, tht money well spent !!! there r no monitors in same range which can compete with tht

i would suggest you give them a go !!

I bought a couple of weeks ago the Mackie HR-624 and i'm completely shocked from their sound. Got them for 795 euros on offer(around $1000) and i think they can be found for that price all over since a lot of dealers have them on offer.

You should definately give them a try whether or not you can afford them.           A friend told me once that the biggest mistake we make is that we believe we live, when in reality we are sleeping in the waiting room of life.
