have other people been spammed by beats and pieces regarding their new release?
while it looks like a great cd, i don't appreciate that they decided to abuse my e-mail address and send me spam mail.
i would have hoped that people would have had more respect in these things when you consider how sensitive the spam issue is these days. if i want to receive this information then i'll gladly opt-in to a mailing list, but don't abuse my e-mail address and send me stuff i never asked for!

I get around 5-10 new psytrance/full-on spams a week... damn annoying. But they all end up in my spamfilter... so spam away... i dont read it anyway

that's not really the point though.
i'm just annoyed that it happened, cuz now i'm pissed off at bnp and that need not have been the case if they followed some basic netiquette rules and had created an opt-in mailing list rather than a spam list. |

or fwd the mail to webmaster_AT_isratrance.com including mail headers for investigation.

i dont have a mailinglist... but i have a contactlist in outlook express, all the people who send mails to me gets added automaticly... and when i send out info from star jelly i just add all of them...
If people dont want them... delete?

well then i have nothing to tell you.
but somewhere u were subcribed. just can't be your e-mail been used just like that
though it's true that sometimes i get some trance "spam" even to my work address nstead of my isratrance mail and got no idea why and how ...
but i don't pay attention since delete is working fine.
sorry for what happened and what feeling it caused you, i am sure nobody wanted to abuse you and send spam all over the net...
would u mind and take a tour around the forum and may be stay here for a while?:)
p.s. disc is really worth checking, i already own my copy and enjoy every second;)

yes, delete is always an option, but i'd prefer if people didn't take those kinds of liberties in the first place. i get a few hundred spam mails a day. it really irritates me to have to wade through them all to find the 'real' e-mails inbetween them.
confirm opt-in is how any serious mailing list should be run. then people like me wouldn't be sending mails like this.
but yes, i've every intention of hanging around for a while.

Well, a friend offered us help to send for us some info about our release.
Sorry it got where it shouldn't have been. Didn't mean no harm.
Thinking about it now, you're right- we shouldn't have sent it. We appologize for all who where bothered by it.
We will soon set up a mailing list. |
