if u can combine waveforms and create new stuff its much better. ive never used it. I use Atmosphere and admit i sometimes feel guilty, cause its almost too easy to have unreal pads instantly.

Wehn i've done my short research, i've found that there is no sample based VST which is as flexible as full synthesis VSTi. Trilogy is not good for guitar basses as well as analogue synthesizers, its has not ehough functions, as some famous brands have and not enough samples, while it costs the same as for example East West Hardcore Bass.

I think you should invest your money in Albino2 with it you can reproduce any of basslines you would like whether it is Melicia or anyone else, moreover you will have full control of your synthesis process and plenty of usefull free patches. I think there many of virtual addictive or substractive synthesizers which can be much more flexible then sample based synthsizer while Trilogy not the best of this category.

Well John c, trilogy works exactly the same as atmosphere, but i think a bass sound is much different from a pad sound...
Anyways...i love the trilogy...there's sooo many combinations possible...enuff to have original bass...
(what's original these days ?
