Im using trilogy now, i would like to talk with a person that uses this vst, because i dont know all the working parts....
if anybody knows the name of the best preset for full on basses, please send me a PM...
i know that Broken Toy uses this vst, and i think Goma and Melicia too, if anybody can explain to me, please contact me!!

The Synth basses are great ....
I work with the saw - synth basses
The Filter and the envelope in the vst is the main influence on the bass sound .
just tweak it a bit according to your wish .

Hello ppl
I just got a copy version of trilogy (5cds) in .exe format.
I want to use it in Logic and i cant wait to get it started...
Can anyone pls give me sone info on how to install it..
how the f*** am i going to install a .exe file on Mac

Yep, impossible ! Seems u have the PC version...
But it sure is a "must have" for bass...you'll never have a dull bass again...the sound is just awesome |

well u can certainly use the .dat file!! but not the actuall install file,
the .dat file is the file that stores all the audio and preset info!!
wich is like 4 gig or so,it doesnt matter wether u use a pc or mac,
u need to get youreself the mac cd joiner and the audio unit installer,then u can install the prgram,then run the joiner to create the .dat file for the program t read from!!
bit confusing hey!!

Ananda Shake also uses this one. This one has a PCI card yes? So I wouldn't be able to use it with a laptop?

does anybody else feel a bit guilty about using plugins liek Trilogy? I like to say the basslines I am using are my own. Maybe its just me |

Well, why should u be guilty when using Trilogy ?
U still have to write the bassline yourself...so...
Trilogy only makes the sound, and even though it's samples, there's still a lot to alter and it's got powerfull filters, so what is your point here ? |

Blixem is right, the synth we all use were made by other people so.... a lto fo hardware synth have sampled waveforms, they don´t generate those waveforms so...its a sample anyway.
The ithing here is how the user manipulates the sounds, take advantage of the existing tools; if u want all be done by u why dont create your own sequencer, synth,plug ins etc... then all would be yours. |

im not saying its wrong and u shouldnt do it. but i like to say i made my own patch. trilogy is sample based. like would u take a bassline from a song and use it? maybe im nuts, but i like to make the sound itself too,. not just the notes. |

Is it wrong to use a moog bass ? When the bass fits your track, why not use it ?
I dunno if u know how the Trilogy bass works, but it's possible to create totaly new sounds using it !
U just combine 2 waveforms and mix them right, so u have a new sound...the good thing about Trilogy is that the waveform samples are top-notch...and makes it able to create a steady and fat bass, anyway u want it....i don't see no difference in it then any other tweaked preset of any vsti... |
