"KARMA" - Goa & Progressive Trance Gathering
Vancouver , Canada
21 - 23 AUGUST 2009
The 3rd ever Karma gathering is set to happen again this August!
After a 2-year hiatus, the 2-day Trance gathering returns to the same beautiful west-coast valley, along the same crystal-clear glacier-fed river,entirely surrounded by majestic snow peaks and towering trees. This time we have secured a fantastic private site, with individual drive-in campsites and amenities, and a gorgeous sandy beach.
There will be 2 stages: one more Progressive, one more Psychedelic, with some legendary international DJ’s as well as our own impressive local talent. Between the 2 stages there will be a chill out zone and small marketplace. Please come prepared with all the camping gear, food and drink you will need, and please respect the beautiful site by carrying everything back out with you.
Karma brings together people from all over the world, united in a love for the positive vibration that comes from abandoning oneself to the tribal trance energy: the music, the dance, the spectacular nature around us and your glowing smile… please join us Friday Aug. 21st to Sunday Aug. 23rd near Squamish, BC for a celebration to remember.
This year we are honored to welcome back Ollie Wisdom, aka Space Tribe, all the way from Australia, who played brilliantly at the first Karma in 2005. Ollie is a legend in the Trance world, having been present at the very beginning on the Goa scene in India in the early 90’s, and continues to tour heavily around the world at Internationally renown festivals.
We also are thrilled to have Domino (Avatar Rec.) join us from the United Kingdom and DJ Solar (Deliria) from Mexico, joining us after a summer of touring the Canadian festival circuit. Check these pages soon for further info and more updates on the great lineup playing at Karma this year.
As there will be hundreds of people camping out in nature, we all have to follow one rule, to keep this beautiful location in its great shape…Respect for Mother Nature.
Just as each of us is responsible for bringing what we need for this outdoor festival, each of us is responsible for carrying it away again. Please try to use biodegradable toilet paper, biodegradable soap, etc. Take your garbage home for recycling, composting and disposal. Cigarette butts should never hit the ground, use a portable ashtray.
Your camp should be left as good as you found it. Please take responsibility for this beautiful wilderness. Thank you for being a part of the gathering.

This peaceful unifying gathering is in a luscious valley in beautiful British Columbia, just two hours drive from Vancouver. We will provide a proper camping village, with chill out area and a small market place.
Please come prepared with camping gear, flashlight, food, water, garbage bags, portable ashtrays, costumes, sarongs, tarps, banners, basic necessities and your glowing smile.
