Just got back. Yep I'm one of the lightweights who didn't go to an after party.
Still wondering... did Olli get to play an encore song? As I left he was stood in despair with his i-book switched off and a bunch of cables in his hand as the crowd begged. Hahaha.
Was a great night, and good to see Olli again. Thanks all.

Absolutely fantastic guys. Really loved those smooth melodies floating above the smooth trippy bass from Spacetribe. And the build up was really great. Kristian pass my thanks on to the other DJs - you guys really turned it on last night.
Bought the Spacetribe album and the latest Alien Project CD. Bounced in the sun and at an after party somewhere in NW London. I'll be bouncing in my head right up to when I fly on Thursday to Germany.
Really glad I went (always a little awkward when your other half can't make it), and met some really great people there.
@lindseyp: From past experience when the lights are switched and the music stops, that is the end of the party. They are really quite strict in getting everyone out - probably something to do with the licence. That's the last thing they want to lose in competitve London. Getting used to it now. You know that's the end of the music, but the party carries on in the minds of the happy people well through Sunday.

haha.. the funny thing was, even the security guy was saying "OK, just ONE more!" and Olli had already unplugged everything so he couldn't even do one even tho the crowd were begging! That's why I was laughing.
Anyway the party rocked. Kristian kicked ass.. the DJ after (forgive me for not remembering which it was!) did great also.
Olli's set started massive. very deep and grabbed attention very well. Then it mellowed out a little as he got in to the 'warm up' mode. The crowd did back down a little here. I found myself with too much room to dance at this point. He picked up after about 45 minutes though with good old-skool and new-skool spacetribe/spirit-zone style thumping and deep proper dancing trance. I must admit it was a bit weird to hear this style for the whole last 1:30m, but it worked great.
Another thing, I was so happy to hear good old-school stomping Goa, and absolutely NO jumping 1/16bass "full-on" israeli stuff which for some reason has become the main staple of the 'new tracks' forum.
I was starting to worry... now I know that at least some DJs are still with the good old deep trance psy vibe.

Hi all thanks for the good comments.
Very shocked with the massive turn out and top vibe@ Chichime,considering thursdays events in London.As a matter of fact the whole of Brixtons venues where buzzing.Shows that shocking events like thursdays bombing will not put down us party animals.

As i always was saying that chichime always rocking, last saturday is another prove of it. thanks everybody 4 a great party, can't wait 4 next one (12 of august, Frekclub @ Mass) And Maniza we gonna do some buggie this weekend for sure i don't work in this one just enjoy myself, c u 2morrow...... |
