Is there a new Space Safari album waiting to be released? Saw one at freeform but i guess it never made it out? Now Sunset maybe? Or what about an Export Audio album?

so its going like: space safari signed for a 3-d album on free form but label been freeze and not release nothing since 7 months or so, together with it frank beckers signed a album on sunset under name constract but sunset records seems no more in buesness, since tobias bayer and d-nox did it for their new own label sprout. there were talks about export audio album on transient and space safari remixes for 3 beat label group, but i dont know if its will became true and when.
all i can say i realy wait for ny of those and what his new stuff he ply at his dj sets so fucking killer, so , one day man, one day we will get new space safari stuff nd it will be a rose day for sure.

thanx zombi you the man! i knew if anyone had the juice it would be you.
i'm looking for a dj to close a 3-day outdoor progressive trance party (japan) and beckers was one guy who a lot of people have praised recently. i want someone who plays sunny and groovy, but also can take it down deep and play emotional stuff (like his summer is old rmx), but stay away from the "pop" side of things (the bootlegs, the vocals, the key changes) and anything too cheesy. in other words, good for beers but also good for acid. i see you were at the voov and lovefield, so how would you compare Space Safari to D-Nox as a dj? any advice welcome!

they are prety same style (they are both from PROOVED COLLECTIVE), while franck goes a bit deeper and smoother, BUT he plays now alot of electro-house-vocal tunes, not realy cheazey but, more melancholic and sad, but im sure he can give up on this part of set for more outdoor emotional music at your party. his set went from realy kicking-fantastik-rythmic slow progressive day trance to those new-wave-electro-prog-house-trance. as for a dj skills he is same class A dj like d-nox, no mistakes at all, he just feel the groove and rythm absolutely perfect. a difference was that d-nox play vynils since he play released stuff and space safari seemed played alot of his own new stuff from cds, i recognized some soundz of him for sure, since im a big fun of him.

Damn....I would love to hear an Export Audio album. That 12" on Transient is probably the best thing I have heard Space Safari involved in. Well, aside from the amazing "Summer is Old" remix, but that one is special.

As much as D-Nox has blown me away the last 2 times I saw him, I think Space Safari might be more what you are looking for. Both times I have heard him, he played very deep groovy progressive with the occasional touch of the melancholy....perfect music under the sun, for me.

The set from D-Nox at Voov did have a bit more of the bootleg and vocal thing going on. I remember hearing the "Smells like Freeland" Nirvana bootleg as well as some P Diddy remix. Not to down on the set - it completely rocked my ass and was one of the best I have heard in years - but it might not be so much what you are looking for. Not cheese to me, but might be cheese to others.

However, if you want my personal opinion, I say to book both of them. Each is flawless on the decks and know how to keep a crowd moving. These guys are 2 of the best DJs at the forefront of the daytime progressive sound and you can't go wrong with either or both.

thanks guys! you've given me a lot of good ideas to play with. (one idea: have d-nox end the 1st afternoon carnival style, have space safari end the 2nd day melancholy style). we'll see...
