i don't remember exactly the name of the track but if u can check the samothraki dvd & listen the 2 min live act from kox box u'll understand i hope

Psytones this kind of great melodies is not easy to find.
If it was easy then psy trance would be the best kind of music around the world
In any case i suggest to look after older artists like Oforia,Deedrah and Dino Psaras or even Joti,they use some great melodies into their tunes.
By the way check out Space Cat-Deep Rising the best track ever by Avi with the most emotional melody,i am preety sure you will love it.
Also check out the amazing remix by Oforia on Power Up.

I just got the "Shades of Sound" album by Space Cat.
And a-ah. It's filled with "that" sound. Is the Beam Me Up album the same, or..?
(I know Space Cat, but only by his compilation tracks)

Yeah its pretty similar & also a good album though its been ages since i heard it..Power up is a classic though both the original & the oforia remix..

The Beam Me Up album by Space Cat is quite different in sound. It sounds more like oldschool psytrance. The style on Shades of Sound was the first time he really worked with that sound. Beam me up is regarded by many people to be more psychedelic.

Yeah i felt like that when i brought the album but it grew on me and i just checked the samples on psyshop and shall be re-visiting some of the tracks tonight...it's not a ground breaking album but it's very well crafted imo. |

I think that there is not such similar melody in any other tracks because that was the sound of space cat and nobody can copy such a work of art because it is too complicated! I think that todays melodies are so basic compared to that!
