Just curious as to the thought behind some of the South Africans artist names. And wondering whats with all the S's ie Shift, Skragg, Slug, Seven ark. Also hydraglyph, hydrophonic (ok that ones obvious), artifakt. They all seem to be pretty difficult to pronounce and don't roll off the tongue so easlily - super great music though! |

hey sudha, what's up man?
for me the word "sudha" is hard and slightly weird to say so mayb its just a language thing, nonetheless thanks for listening to the music man and for the kind words.
as for 'the skragg' - it was a nickname i liked and used.
ciao

When we first called ourself Hydraglyph we actually had no idea that Hydrophonic existed. We originally just liked the idea with combining a mythical beast with some form of code. It was just a play on the word Heiroglyph. Duh We also thought it would be something cool to play with. For example we could call songs or albums things like Hydra-Electicity etc. We were going for a whole theme. For my solo project I went with exactly the opposite. I wanted something stupid and easy to pronounce so I called myself Tundra. Ta daa! |
