I'm just curious what there is out there that is similar to Trent Reznor & Atticus Rose's effort on the Girl With A Dragon Tattoo soundtrack?

I haven't much interest in the film but being a diehard Reznor fan I popped over to http://www.nullco.com/GDT/gbp.php & ordered the standard CD pack.

Have been very impressed with almost 3 hours of abstract, dark & industrial ambient sounds.

Except for the opening & closing tracks there are no vocals & some very unique sounds.

I haven't heard the soundtrack above, but I will endeavour to do so, as it sounds like it would be good from the description.

You could try Miasmah label, they specialise in dark ambient / modern classical / lynch-esque dark jazz kinds of music:

sounds really nice!

If you check out that soundtrack you should check the http://www.nullco.com for NIN - "Ghosts I-IV" & also the soundtrack they did for "The Social Network" movie (not a fan of the movie but the sountrack is awesome - they won "Best Soundtrack" at the academy awards for it).
