Right Guys...
I've tryed all of what was mentionate here and I think that the best was really to detune one side and apply a sort delay to the other side, I've also applyed the Sideral VST (Thanks Uedi...) that helped.

A small size reverb (Thanks Gutter...) can achieve a similar efect n I might use it as well.

Cheers

virtual barber shop was recorded with a dummy head and has nothing to do with stereo enhancing tools or just panning. there are millions of timing, pitching, and filtering differences in this project and i think it just can't be done in a computer. you must record it with a dummy head and listen to it only with headphones to work. it is not stereo, it is omni.
you can search for "decorrelation" (from surround stuff) and you will learn some tricks for stereo too. (note: decorrelation only works with more than 2 speakers, but you will understand how hearing works.)

spatialization is pretty interesting. little shifts in time, panning, eq and reverb/delay settings can mean a huge difference.

I'm still into 2 speaker music because humans got two ears. no need for fancy 1000.1 speaker systems. you can do almost any sound effect with just two sources and two ears.           soundcloud.com/epsylohm

yes and all you need is 2 pixels on TV for 2 eyes...
how can you compare surround effects to stereo effects? did you actually tried it? (my guess no)

maybe you're just kidding but if you are serious you are completely wrong.
i have 2 speakers too but i can hear sounds coming from my back too. and that's because we have 2 ears. hearing is omni-directional not stereo.
it is true that you can make very nice effects with a stereo system though!

Though Bruce Swedien isn't a psytrance producer he's still to be considered as one of the best sound engineers there ever was, and i quote him:

"I care for mono.. and I don't care for surround"
