Hi,
you probably noticed that everytime you do/change a sound in soundforge, it makes a .sfk file.
What happens is that after some time of using sf you get your computer completelly overloaded with this files, wich, at least in my case, only causes confusion...
Why does sf makes this files?anyone knows the use of this file?
what about stopping sf producing them?anyway to make that?

.sfk .gpk files is the peaks files of the file you openned, once you open you get load message saying "creating peaks" or something, and then this file created. now when u open this file oncfe again you will not get this load message and the file will load muich faster. to test try it on a huge .wav. anyway i delete them. leaving them only when i work and need to reopen something big.

Just make a cleanup of sfk's once in a while.
Run a search for *.sfk, and demolish them all
