Hi !
In soundforge you are able to save different
presets.Like in the window fade graphic your able to save presets within soundforge.
My question is how you can save these presets to a real location on your harddrive.
I´ve had several computer crashes where i´ve lost all these settings.
Please help me

hi Conny,

this is an issue with many applications developed for windows (e.g. wavelab does this as well). they store their data on your system drive (c:) in ../application data which is somewhere in /my documents and settings (called something like this, search with your explorer to find it). some allow to set this to a different directory (e.g. on your data harddrive), some allow to export settings.

for soundforge try to look in the above folder if you find a soundforge folder. in there, you might be able to find what you're looking for, then, backup those files.

cheers
