Well it does the same kind of thing with only a few limitations, so that's an odd thing to say... does seem a little buggy though I guess.
If you use kontakt or another sampler with equal modulation options you may want to load a sine wave into that and start stacking envelopes assigned to the pitch and play around with those. I prefer that to the sound forge pitch bend function anyway.

use bassIZM..and even just buy it...just cost about 30€ and is really worth it..
you could use stuff like soundforge or similar to mac..but with bassIZM you got the same technic..but you r able to change it in realtime accoding to your track...
so if you r not able to use BasIZM ..you should consider your expectation first....definatly..

The thing with bazzism is you don't have anywhere near the amount of control over the tail of the sound as you do using Sound forge or a sampler.
When I first started out I found the type of kick bazzism gives you to be ok... but once I started underpinning my bass line with sub waves, my kick seemed to lack the same heart. I tried adding a lower sub frequency to my kick, but it just doesn't sound right. You really need the tail of the kick to cause these frequency's.
That said I know a lot of you hi pass many of the subs altogether and with that in mind Bazzism is fine, but it's not a perfect solution. |

The thing is, sound forge is a massive program, and the simple synthesis and pitch bend functions are just a tiny part of that and they can be easily emulated by loading a sine wave into a sampler and playing with envelopes assigned to the pitch.
It's not the answer you want, but it is the answer you need |
