they are winning money thivering music
when you upload a public track,at the same time is on this kind of sites...

some of those sites provide links to the high quality version, when downloads are available. but also to the 128bit mp3 preview when there's no download available.
not a great audio quality, but enough for mobile speakers...  |

it's bad for the labels. specially when there are websites that are illegally selling high quality mp3s for $0,09..
worse than put them for free.

At the end of the day as Faxi says if you take the risk of putting your music online, once its there forget any kind of privacy or ownership.
You can, off-course, take steps to make it unlistenable, noise every 20 secs, silence etc but thats up to you.
