Hey,
I am have some serious problems with soundcloud's quality and I'm not sure why ,maybe you guys can help me out.
The last days I have been struggling to get one of my tracks sound good (in terms of sound quality) in soundcloud and I just cant! soundcloud squashes the shit out of it for some reason and I tried everything.. no clashing frequncies no limiter no compressor no clipping I dont understand why is that, I tried to compare it to another track I uploaded which sounded quiet good and I can't figure out the difference.
hmm also it's sound worst on the higher freqs like that click of the kick and hats and shakers, and I even low passed at 17khz..
Oh and also everything is uploaded as wav file..
Thanks I hope you guys can help me figure this shit out.

You upload wav, you download wav.
but when you stream you'll get 128 bit mp3

here's some more information

Well, give this a try: export from your daw and convert it to 128 bit see if it sounds better than the one on soundcloud
