OK. I'm looking for any information on Soundclash Republic following the discovery of an album called The Birth Of Shiva Shanti. It was released in the early 90's and some of the sounds are very pre-psy; I mean, I'm not really up on my genres but it's a little like some of the acid house I used to hear as a teenager, kind of down-mid tempo, some nice squelchy moments and it's quite trancey/repetative.
Does anybody know who they are and if the CD is available anywhere? I heard it a while back at a friends house and have made a CDR copy on account of the fact that since then I can't find anywhere that sells it, and there are only snippets of information about them online.
Any help would be appreciated!!
