mdpsychopat.
u ask a very general question.
i don't want to throw u names of the brands:
if you don't know what you want, don't buy a card yet
wait.

read some on www, and decide.

check out what u need best in former posts on this subject. there are no revolutions in this lately.

cheers,
Bom.

the Delta 44 or 66 also is a good deal...
try to stay away from USB soundcards...
also firewire helps a lot !

All in one for $800

plus midi keyboard (http://www.m-audio.com/)
this in 400$

i think this 2 packs with things to buy at 1200$ its killer price and good for all kind of artists and for all kind of production its enough.

of course if you buy pulsar 2 its better sound card but for what spend all your money. when you have good money to spend then you can pay that but before that 1200$ and you get everything that you need excelent its perfect for me. i will buy that probably soon... anyway i want to buy new monitors also and that to buy good ones its at least each one 300 $ each one...i buy 2 so its more 600$

that is enough for production tought
