What's your budget like?
MAudio Delta 1010 is what I use, very nice, TONS of inputs/outputs, very clean signal. 
Around $600US. |

Just get yourself a nice 24ch mixer,
Simple 24bit card (say Delta44).
and you can start working on those recordings!

buy RME multiface(about 900 usd with pci card) or EgoSys WamiRack 192 L(X) about 400-500 usd.
ps Why do you need 16 monochannels for 3 synths?
pss MoDul right! you need a mixer, but if you will record thru the mixer, you need a good one! it's about 500-600 usd.

3 synths, each one with left & right output, you need 6 inputs. Am I missing something really important here?

thanks for the tips...
my synths have 2/3 stereo outs wich is great.
the 1010 is cool, but only has 8 analog ins.
i wich i could do he monitoring on my pc and, if possible, add pluggin fxs (vst?) to some of the audio inputs...
maybe i should get one of these things that have lots of inputs and convert them to spdif or a similar format. then i could plug it to my pc throught a soundcard like the audiophile or the emu...
any ideas ?

i dont really want to add a mixer because i would like to do the mixing in my pc |

if it is a monosynth, apart from the waldorf pulse, it should have only one analogue output

Well what do I know about synths... I only got a cs1x with a single stereo output.
