I am very suspicious! I own a rme multiface.
You will be amazed...
Although, I think you should try some. Therefore I hope that in Sweden it's diferent from Portugal. We don't get much oportunities to test this kind of gear at the stores.
All I can say is that all I ever asked from a soundcard to be, ...I've found it with this one!           "The Light Children Are Awakening!"

Hey Anders i'm pretty sure you won't find absolutely noise free soundcard, because they simply don't exist. But you can check out these relatively cheap and low noise semi pro cards:
ST Audio offers large variety of Audio Cards. Some of them are relatively cheap:
Check models DSP2000 C-Port, and DSP24 Value if you have MIDI interface and don't look for too many ins/outs.
Their Site: http://www.staudio.com/

And there's also Echo's Audio Cards: MIA or MIA MIDI. They are also not too expensive
Their Site: http://www.echoaudio.com/Products/Mia/index.php

All of those cards are 24/96 and Asio2 Compatible which means low latency.

Enjoy, and don't forget that music is the most important part.

If you want 0 latency you have to go for RME...
They have 1.5 ms latency and that's the lowest you'll get...

Anders, there's no such thing 0ms latency. To your brain takes approx 6ms time to process audio information. So basically everything under this is irrelevant. I am working perfectly well with 20ms.
If you want real 0ms latency go for Analog equipment.
All digital equipment have some latency, even Virtual Analog Synths (Nordlead,Virus etc..) It's very low (microseconds) but it exists.
Good luck

like space ninja written, there are no cards ( which u can pay ) with 0 latency...
< 8ms is only hearable for very good trained ears.
about noise free = dynamic range / signal to noise ratio of >108 dba is ok too...

if u wont spent too much ( 300 $ ) go for m-audio "audiophile" all in/out u ll need and ok quality for good conditions.

ok if u like to get bit better go for rme, but then u ve to pay more and depends on type of card u need seperate midi-interface...

good luck
