soundcard quality..

heya, lets say i have project ready in cubase.. now i have very bad soundcard.. costs like 20$..
if i'll buy a quality sound card in 300$ they quality of the project i work on will sound better? automatic?
hows it work? |

It might sound better from your speakers - the D/A will be changed, and probably the noise floor will go down.
It will have no effect on the digitally written wavefile, unless you record your analog outputs.
But if you start a new project with the new card, you will have a higher quality recording if you record (A/D), a smoother computer operation, less noise and a bigger dynamic window... and of course a more detailed mix when you use it with proper monitors.

yeha.. get a sound card and monitors for accurate listening and minimum production reliability... its really worth m8
