sound traps fix this?

i make a bass line and kick, eq unwanted freqs say notch out 2db 180, 250,500. i play loud walk around the room and i hear different freqs in certain areas of my room, would this mean i should treat with traps solve this problem, in the sweet spot i mix. but sounds different everywhere else.
