im looking for something to seperate lyrics from beats, beats from bass, bass from guitar. i was looking at this piece of equipment that does that kind of stuff, but its bout 14,000. im not bout to spend that much money on something. i just wanna computer program that'll do that, and thats not 14000, perhaps something i can dl from the internet.
well, if what i want is unrealistic, then sorry to waste your time, if you have any info bout computer software that seperates sounds, then please share it. thank you

The only accurate way to seprate sounds is to get the source file of the project. |

The only way you can really seperate differnt instruments in one WAV track - is when those instruments playing at differnt Frequency Ranges...
Since this is not the CAse with most of the tracks - I doubt that you could do it with any software. |

Not exactly - the average kick drum starts at around 10khz - which means you will get traces of it unless your trying to seperate a hi-hat. |

try Zero-X Beatslicer latest edition.. in some cases and with a little work with a program that has a good parametric and graphic equalizer you could have a very surprising result.. |
