Yeah, I am trying to adjust the levels. Somehow Hihats are always to loud This is really difficult to mix and "master".
Everyday I try to add piece by piece to get a richer sound and song, hopefully one day it will be done. Thanks for the input, I appreciate that.

welcome.
if you have same problem with hats than just keep that in mind and group them and after you mix everything make the group 3 dB quieter or something like that. until u figure out a better way..

Still unfinished, but adding some things for better sound. Trying to use reference, but it's kinda annoying and hard.

everything has already been said.
you have nice clean sound so there's not that much to do
if you did it just on headphones and/or 5.1 system, then you are on straight way to get pro sound. i'm jealous now

ps. you can always use spectrum analyzers etc to check your reference file and your track. remember to use it as tool, not as oracle           http://www.beatport.com/release/cross-the-atoms/1042450

really annoying indeed.. but to get proper balance in not ideal monitoring environemnt it can really help.. problem is that it can easily make you sound totally like these reference .
as long as it transalte almost everythign else is subjective and part of the art imo.. these day we think too much we should sound like this or that just just cause some sucessful artist sound like this or that probably.. then everyone sound almost the same in the end.

you make killer music that got success... that what define the what sound good, how it should sound like.. artists wil start to sound all like this too if they can..

Kind words guys, thank you.
I found a solution. I connected my PC to my Sony Stereo. It has awesome speakers. It will help till I get money for the "real thing".

PoM true, but if I could sound like my reference (Astral Projection) I would love to sound like them

Btw, if someone wants to add me on facebook http://www.facebook.com/chileCbc
